Airtel digital TV, the DTH service by Bharti Airtel, on Wednesday launched iKisaan an interactive service specially designed in Hindi. The programme targets the population residing in rural areas of Jharkhand, Rajasthan, Haryana, Uttaranchal, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh.
With the launch of iKisaan, Airtel digital TV customers in these states can get real-time access to crop prices, prevalent agri-input prices of seeds, pesticides, weather information and localized farming advisory in Hindi which is specific to their district.
Spokesperson of Airtel digital TV said that the service will be available to all the customers at no additional cost for the first month from launch.
