Airtel hd 450v sowtware update and recording process

today i am update my airtel huawei hd stb with 450v new version...
Advantages of new version sotware
1)it support 4gb pendrive for recording
2)epg is same as old software 402v
3)circular menu
4)telugu epg language added
5)recording settings and vod settings
Disadvantages
1)it is not support fta channels
2)channel conflict error...i.e not support background recording...

2465 manuval update process

1)Switch off the power of STB (Don't switch off the STB using Remote)
2)Switch it On again and when TV screen says 'Please wait Initialising"...
3)Press 'Exit' button twice and then 2465 immediately.
You'll see the software upgradation message

Note:
goto device info
and check du end date......
after du end date you can try 2465 method....your stb upgrade with new version...

recording topup 49 per year

If possible do watermark your images with your name and dreamdth. That will add a copy-right also save from copy. BTW Good update, +Reps from me too.

bro i donot have hd dvr remote.....
using my hd stb remote....i recording the programs using epg and ok button....
and one more adv of new software is telugu epg language is avilable

guys one disadvantage is " In recoding time we see only recording channel....there is no chance to see other channel i.e for example we are recording starcricket hd chaannel...when that time we see only star cricket hd channel...and system not allow to other channel and we keep change other channel in recording time it shows CHANNEL CONFLICT ERROR "
