Most wanted channel stupid airtel still not adding pending hd channels nonsense .iam waiting disney hd more than a month still nothing added.

They r adding even other popular pay as well as FTA channels so adding home or promo channels is not an issue. Ads on home channels help earn revenue for the operator which inturn is used to improve service quality

Home channels for new lcn updates or what?

That will happen very soon. On 6th May they r removing many channels from FTA Complimentary Bouquet, also from they have informed subscribers that from 26th April to 25th May maintenance activities will be undertaken during watershed hours. Since last 1 year they have scheduled many such maintenance tasks which clearly indicates that they are working on various tasks and very soon we will get to see the outcome.


2 New Transponders have already been activated, more new transponders might soon be added....LCN Realignment too most probably will start soon i guess in phased manner, they have already signed New RIO agreement with various broadcasters and LCN will be arranged as per slab agreed upon/selected through mutual consensus in respective RIO.


Also many other changes or launch of services / policies /features likely to happen alongwith this. @Vadirocks anna please try to get some updates regarding this from your source

Earlier there were even rumours/news of Airtel Digital TV acquiring Dish-d2h, let's see if talks on this did indeed happen and if this is true then what is the current status of the same.

Now rules even permit sharing of infrastructure including satellite / transponders between different operators so in future operators might also enter such partnerships to save costs.

Lastly may be Airtel Digital TV is shifting its uplink centre / headend to new location or some major work is ongoing at current headend hence it may also be one of the reasons reason for maintenance activities to be happening on a regular basis
