Major, hd run best with hdmi cable,
If u have hd box and sdtv then use rca cable and set resolution to 576p for best sd experience

OK just consider HDTV & SD channels
Connecting SD box to HDTV with RCA cable or
HD box to HDTV with RCA cable gives good clarity for SD channels

Definately, that's what I'm trying to say,
But u don't get quality in HD channels like hdmi
