Videocon d2h selects ALi Corp for its next-gen HD STBs
MUMBAI: Direct to home (DTH) operator Videocon d2h has selected Taiwanese set top box (STB) chipset provider ALi Corporation for the development of its next-gen high-definition (HD) STBs.
The system on a chip (SoC) solution offered by ALi Corp. is the top-tier STB SoC of its generation for HEVC segment integrating all the latest enhancement technology for performance, security, and flexibility while remaining cost-effective for the India market. The solution is fully pre-integrated and pre-validated with the software ecosystem of Videocon.
