Anil Kapoor’s 24 season 2 to replace India’s Got Talent and NOT Comedy Nights Live

The second season of Anil Kapoor‘s 24 is coming up and after seeing the teaser for this season we can’t wait for it to start. 24 season one was extremely populaar with the TV viewing audience, so it is expected that this season will do well too. While it was revealed that Anil Kapoor’s show would take off from July 23, the time slot of the show was not mentioned. With a show of this magnitude, it was sure that 24 would get a slot between 8 pm to 11 pm which is the prime slot.

The Colors CEO Raj Nayak shared a video teaser just now which revealed to us the exact time slot. Earlier, it was reported that Anil Kapoor’s show would actually replace Krushna Abhishek’s Comedy Nights Live on Sunday coz of the dwindling ratings. However, this ain’t true. 24 season 2 will in fact replace Malaika Arora Khan’s India’s Got Talent in the 9 pm to 10 pm slot on Saturday and Sunday.

I think this is the perfect move as the slot is the best one and with Mona Singh’s Kavach being launched only a few weeks back it would be foolish for them to move the show from the 8 pm to 9 pm slot. Also with this move, Colors will be able to compete with their former employee – Kapil Sharma’s show - The Kapil Sharma Show which airs from 9 pm to 10.30 pm on Sony.
