What's the use of adding language feeds when many cable operators do not even add them and large number of viewers r unaware about this or have no idea about steps to follow for changing languages.
I can vouch for the fact that Infotainment Channels r underperforming bcoz majority have less or no command over English hence tune rarely into them. It will do them lot good if separate channels r launched for key markets. Like for example Discovery Channel Hindi can be a unique channel with tagline "Aao seekhe kuchh aur"... They can even customise content on basis of audience it caters to and have localised catchy promotional material for connecting better with audience .
Please share this feedback with Megha Tata ma'am or others in key position across infotainment channels thru social media. Even sharing forum link will do fine
