Are they going to share the rights with Disney or is it an exclusive deal? If Disney has indeed lost the rights then it's a massive blow to Hungama TV. That was basically 90% of their programming. Were they caught sleeping when Sony was doing the deal

I think it's great for the shinchan franchise. Hungama was sabotaging shinchan's brand. The last we got a new movie in dub was 2017 kanta laga one. Since then there has been no new dub and hungama keeps airing same episodes with heavy censoship and bad script. I do think it's sad since hungama has been airing shinchan since 2006 but 2006-2012 was hungama golden era with uncensored shinchan after that it was banned but returned with heavy censorship.

I hope yay duhs new movies and goes eas with the censorship.

But the core audience of Hungama is Shinchan which they air most of the time & other cartoons cannot get that reach similar to Shinchan.As Hungama is now available on all basic packs similar to Nickelodeon,if they lose Shinchan to Sony Yay then it will be a huge loss for them.
