Discussion Are Carriage Fees Destroying New Channel's Business?

Do you guys believe that carriage fees are subtly killing the business of startup tv channels? I remember many Malayalam channels were struggling to make their reach to a wider audience just because of these heavy carriage fees. Still many FTA channels are not available through DTH/cable tv platforms due to the same reason.
TRAI should come up with some new rules like viewers can select any channel from the Mib website (which are available in India) which can actually boost the Tv business for some Indian startups.

DTH and cable have limited capacity. Most of them are already full.

I think DTH and cable will be outdated before 2030. All channels will have to stream from YouTube. YouTube has unlimited capacity
