Asian Hotels (East) Ltd, which operates Hyatt Regency Delhi, Hyatt Regency Mumbai and Hyatt Regency Kolkata, recently posted a 4.78 per cent increase in its net profit at Rs 7.67 crore for the first quarter ended June 30, 2011. In the same quarter last year, the company's net profit stood at Rs 7.32 crore. The company stated in a filing to the BSE that its net sales increased 1.08 per cent at Rs 19.60 crore during the first three months of the current fiscal, as against Rs 19.39 crore during the corresponding period the previous year.
