When I first watched this channel Rang on my BIG TV STB I loved it's logo. I thought that if Colors would have some re-run TV channel it would be named rang if this was not launched. Even Colors TV logo font are very much similar to it.

In the absence of large national broadcasters, Pride East Entertainment (which owns Rang, Ramdhenu, Indradhanu and News Live) has done a great job of providing Assamese viewers quality entertainment, along with AM Television Network (Rengoni, Prag News) and Brahmaputra Tele Productions (Jonack, DY 365). Hope they are able to launch HD feeds and/or their own OTT platforms soon and wishing them all the best!

Also, I seriously hope Zee, Disney-Star or Viacom18 considers launching an Assamese GEC in the next decade. When Star is launching an Odia GEC, surely it can launch Assamese as well.

There are OTT platforms like Prag Play from AM Television. Dunno about Brahmaputra Tele Productions. Other two are not some small time players.
