  • As always Dangal and Sun TV are the leaders. This week, Sony Sab has become the No. 1 pay Hindi GEC, ahead of Star Plus, and the No. 2 overall after Dangal. Zee TV (last week's No. 1 pay GEC) has fallen below Star Plus.
  • ETV Telugu has replaced Zee Kannada in the top 10. Nick is there as well.
  • The difference between Star Plus, Zee TV and Sony TV is not very big now.

Well.....Yes......this is the Trend for Bangla Market.
No Diwali Gimmick involved for this Ratings.

Some months Back Star Jalsha used to be in No.1 with Zee Bangla at No.2. Now the situation flipped in favour for Zee Bangla with Some New Content and Programming Strategies and thus Zee Bangla now at No.1 while Star Jalsha slows down for a While at No.2 but again trying very Hard to Regain No.1 with New Shows and Programs which are coming within November.

Other GEC like Sun Bangla & Aakash Aath also doing well but due to Baarc Designing for TRP Chart of 5 Channels never observed in the Top List.

Comedy central HD
Shows on comedy central HD gets more views as people watch them on HD
Example no.1 show is Big bang theory gets almost double the SD rating in HD.
In top5 English programs 3 are of Comedy central HD and 2 of Comedy central SD.
Major players are BIgg bang , friends and tonight show ( Jimmy Fallon ).

Zee Cafe and Star World had big bang and Friends for ages but never able to capitalize. Comedy Central is doing some serious marketing, especially for HD channel
 
Star World never had full rights of The Big Bang Theory. Meanwhile Friends was off air for years. Until Romedy Now started airing in random order. Even that gave them good ratings.

Mind you that Viacom doesn't have full rights of The Big Bang Theory. Zee does. It just has the popular seasons. Comedy Central is bound to do good. It's a comedy channel. Sitcoms have repeat value. Dramas don't. Air same shows on Colors Infinity and watch the difference in ratings.
