Brightness problem

I am facing a problem for last 4-5 days regarding the brightness in channels. Suddenly the brightness of channels is getting dim and it is happening on all channels. It remained so for 3-4 minutes and then comes to normal. First I thought it may be some setting problem of STB or TV but no such problem. Is this problem happening to me only or had someone else have faced such problem? I am using HD connection with samsung full HD TV

It has to be some setting on your TV. Check if it has a ambient light sensor which may be set to auto mode. Otherwise it could be a problem with your TV's LCD panel.

May be Dynamic contrast on your tv is ON or there may have tv hardware problem ( like dying capacitor or maybe some major problem), it doesn't sound like stb problem.
