Aidem Ventures, an independent media consulting, marketing and advertising company has been roped in to handle ad sales for BTV News, an HD Kannada news channel which is supported by Eaglesight Media.
Apart from the DTH services like Airtel, Videocon D2h, it is also available on cable networks like Hathway, Act, IN Cable, Siti, Den Network etc. The channel is available on YouTube as well as for download as an app on Google Play.
Speaking on the tie-up, G M Kumar, Managing Director, BTV News said, “We are extremely confident that this collaboration with Aidem Ventures will aid us in monetizing our advertising inventory better. They have been managing the ad sales for some of the biggest news brands from India and abroad. So, we saw Aidem’s ability to position channels in the advertiser market in a way that works both in the favour of the advertiser and the channel. Since BTV News is one of the leading channels in the Karnataka news space, it was important for us to assign the monetization to a team that truly comprehends the value of such an offering."
