Friends I came to Know that using solid brand (which makes hardware for DD direct) Low noise LNB helps receiving signal during heavy rains. Is it true??? How much it cost?? Which lnb ku band or c band should be used for tata sky

You can use any KU band LNB for Tata Sky ...:tup
Signal loss during heavy rain is a common problem in all DTHs. We cannot cannot solve this problem completely...:s
Inverto LNB(costly)is the better LNB available in the market...:k
All DTHs using KU band signals, Tata Sky also using KU band.
Currently Tata Sky providing Sharp KU band universal LNB for SD & HD boxes, and Inverto LNB for Transfer box ..:tup

For your info, the reason behind signal loss during heavy rain is; The water absorbs KU band signals so very low signals comes to the dish..:k By using some of the high gain LNB we will get signals for a limit..

You can go for the LNB mentioned in the blog & let's see what happens in heavy rain ..;):lol

@renovetio bro -- plz remove the private blog link in your post 03 itz against forum rules :( ..

Thanks for you infornation. but I used to use sundirect before tata sky. In sundirect there use to be signal loss only during very heavy rain that too very fewer cases for a max 10 min
I also heard that RDTV is still better in signal reception during heavy rain.
But tata sky signal loss even when there is a small cloud right above the dish. I am not criticizing tata sky but I really love it and want to make small tweaks n improve it.

Bro I think proper alignment needed for your dish, because I faced signal issues only in heavy rain...
