Can't turn off HDR on Xstream box (Android 12)

On my Xstream box (Android 12), HDR is always on. There seems to be no option in the settings to turn it off or set it to automatic/ adaptive.
This creates all kinds of problems. The UI, non-HDR content look like trash with over saturated colors, very dark pictures... HDR content look ok.
Am I missing something here? On Binge+ box, there is an option "SDR to HDR", which can be turned off. But this new Xstream box does not have any seting like that...

Bro there is no HDR setting in xstream 4

Only option as of now is to select colorspace to 8bit which will cutoff HDR signal .. alternatively if using HDR please increase the contrast by 50% to get a better vibrant picture, also trying using 1080p instead of 4k resolution for sharper picture
