Youth GEC Channel V is back with the
fifth edition of its youth festival ‘Microsoft VFest
2015’ and has got on board Bollywood actor
Varun Dhawan due to his strong connect with
the youth.

In its fifth year, the festival has been rebranded
as VFest from its earlier title Indiafest. Youth
from all over the country are invited to bring out
the hero in them, as they compete with the best
of the best.

The finale of the pan-India college festival is
slated to take place in Baga, Goa, on 13 and 14
February, 2015. On air, the finale will play out on
7 and 8 March 2015. The title sponsor for the
festival is Microsoft.

Registrations for the fest are open to collegians
to take up the challenge and ‘Beat the Best’.
Aspiring participants can register on the official
website of VFest for the event of their choice
from December 2014 to January 2015.

All registered entries will be shortlisted by
Channel V. The shortlisted participants will be
invited to the VFest zonals, which will be carried
out in six cities including Mumbai, Pune, Delhi,
Kolkata, Ahmedabad and Bengaluru.

The zonals will be held in Pune on 19 December
2014, in Delhi on 23 January 2015, in Kolkata on
23 January, and in Mumbai in the third week of
January. All zonal winners will qualify to compete
at the VFest grand finale in Goa.

VFest is undertaken to create a national-level
platform for students from all fields and turfs to
congregate. To ensure maximum participation
and benefit the best of talent, VFest has no
registration barriers in terms of fees for
participants.
