I am happy to announce today that I have completed a decade on the DreamDTH & OnlyTech forum. I registered on this day in 2015. The main reason I joined the DreamDTH forum was to get updates on any new channels launching on D2h, which I could only get on the DreamDTH forum. The first DTH connection in my house was D2h, which I installed on February 7, 2015, because in the same year, on February 2, we had bought a 22-inch Samsung LED TV. Before D2h, I used to have a local cable connection, but the picture quality wasn’t good due to the lack of an HDMI cable, so I decided to get the D2h connection along with the new TV. Perhaps, had I bought a TV or any DTH earlier, I could have joined the DreamDTH forum even before 2015. Initially, I used to check only D2h updates. Gradually, I started checking what was going on with other DTH services, and I regretted choosing D2h because Dish TV had more HD channels than D2h. This was one of the key reasons I started checking other DTH updates, so I began exploring other forum sections as well, gaining knowledge about satellite and channel updates.
Apart from these, the sports section on the DreamDTH forum was also one of my favorite sections (now it has been moved to the OnlyTech forum).
In my early days on DreamDTH, I got to know a few people who were giving updates & commenting mostly in the D2h section, and it’s important for me to mention them, such as @Vadirocks, @M.J.Sadiq, @Gssran, @Mr.Bhat, @sam, @GODMAN, @N.K raj, @Anup Tiwari , @sutharshan, @Thakur, @mgparmar18plus, @Venkatraman, @jay vithlani, and others.
My journey on DreamDTH has been full of ups and downs because I made many mistakes in the beginning, which led to a permanent ban. However, despite that, @Bapun bro kindly gave me another chance after I assured him that I wouldn't repeat those mistakes. I am grateful to him and the team members at that time for their support.
I would also like to thank @Saj 007, @SarFa, and @Sai Jai, who helped me during my early days. Additionally, @Siva, @Sarkar, @Basil, @Rushil, @Deepu Darling, @shawl_who, @Endgame, @Shubh, @sumitroy, @Abhinav, @Digital Mastermind, @Rajkumar, @iDJ, @Justlita22, @Vicky, @somnath chakraborty, @JollyLNB, @hike, @Vishnu777, @Amit1079, @Optimus_Prime, @amarnathkvk, @Shantanu, @ShivRaj, @wewake, @thisisjagan, @avipersistent, @Ritesh, @Shiva mahesh, @ramesh skyPLAY, @D. J. Das., @Girish, @Jithin91, @Kiran Reddy, @Appu guru, @PRK, @ABCDEFGH, @Sparker0i, and many more became my friends in DreamDTH. Moreover, I have some fond memories of MyBB before migrating to XenForo, such as receiving different badges in various colors after getting a promotion. In those days, we celebrated each other's promotions in PMs.
Like @Rajkumar bro, there are certain things in my journey on DreamDTH that have improved, such as my writing and speaking skills in English. I give credit to DreamDTH for this.
I am also happy to share that I won the Dream Member of the Month award three times, which has been one of the highlights of my journey on the forum. Along with that, I had the privilege of being part of the moderation team, which was a wonderful experience in itself.
I wish the forum admins and moderators all the best for managing the DreamDTH and OnlyTech forums so well. I also want to thank the team for giving me the opportunity to moderate for a while. I would also like to thank the current team members @Bapun, @Siva, @mmadhankumar, @Sushruth.V.H., @Abhinav, @sumitroy, @PowerStar for their continued support and for keeping the forum running smoothly. Additionally, I would like to thank the past team members who contributed so much to the forum's success and my journey, including those who helped me in my early days and provided guidance, support, and encouragement.
