"DD Chandana" downlink parameters will be changed with effect from 12th December 2024

Hoping DD Chandana revamp on that day with new logo and already variety of shows uploaded in their YouTube Channel.

The details are as follows:
  • Satellite - GSAT 17 (93.5 E)
  • Downlink Freq : 3961 MHz
  • Compression : MPEG-2 DVB-S
  • Modulation : QPSK
  • Dowlink Pol : Horizontal
  • Roll of Factor : 20%
  • FEC : 3/4
  • Symbol Rate : 2.9 MSPS

By any chance this activity related to HD feed addition.

Any info about DD Chandana HD feed? Only regional HD as on date is DD Tamil HD, though this is not available on any major platform
 
Two More DD channels moving to New Transponder on GSAT-17 w.e.f. 12 December 2024 00:00
  1. DD Kashir
  2. DD Bangla

So 12th Dec 2024 will be the big day from Doordarshan.
 
Coincident is DD Kashir and DD Bangla placed on bottom of the channels list first DD Chandana also in bottom of the channels list.
