It means Doordarshan is going to convert DD India into English news channel. From last many years they were showing nothing useful.

This change has not been made to add Mubu TV or some other FTA Entertainment Channel, right now LCN Slots 175, 178, 179 are free for such addition and there is no need to shift DD Kisan or DD India to new position.
As mentioned in some previous articles that DD has decided to convert their India channel as a 24 hour English News Channel hence all operators have been requested to migrate it to appropriate genre in EPG.
