Only DD Malayalam remains to telecast movies after revamp.
Even DD Saptagiri starting airing movies not Telugu but Hollywood dubbed movies.

I guess DD Malayalam not telecasting movies because "Old Malayalam Movies" having some stufff....

They invited tender for Movies and seems like all these vendors has to recensor their existing libraries and few of the vendors have stopped their satellite rights business.

Really it is fact to show old malayalam movies you have to recensor movies then telecast. Currently Surya Movies doing the same they recensored their old movies which is now looking scrap only with recensorship.

Earlier, Mazhavil Manorama shared their library with DD Malayalam. after that now they only have few Adoor Gopalakrishnan's movies which no one would be interested to watch. Since they already got some viewers due to the Super League Kerala, If they utilise this time for good movies, they can get some old viewers back.

Waiting for Movies on DD Malayalam. DD Malayalam just showing News, Interviews and etc etc, not even showing songs.
