Konjum Salangai starring Gemini Ganesan and Savithri in the lead, is touted to be the first Tamil film to be screened in Poland in a dubbed version.
Konjum Salangai is a 1962 musical Tamil film produced and directed by M V Raman. It was released outside India with the original having subtitles in more than 22 languages by a British company. It was also dubbed into other languages and received a fair amount of notice from critics.
