MUMBAI: Infotainment broadcaster Discovery Channel is premiering its new local show ‘India Living Traditions’, a programme that will reveal lesser-known facts about the country’s cultural practices.
Kicking off on 20 October at 9 pm, the special will look at traditions, art forms and natural phenomena of India, which have been prevalent for a long time in the country.
The programme will take viewers on explorations across India, revealing aspects of some of India’s lesser-known communities,
customs, myths, folklore, festivals, performing arts and crafts, topography and architecture.
The programme covers the aspect of Theyyam of Kerala, Patua of Bengal and the Rural Olympics of Punjab.
