They can change that on old tp also,

You are thinking wrong bro... A broadcaster can change their encryption with the same tp. But nowadays all age going to advanced technology, many of broadcasters where changing to DVBS2 technology, means they can manage to add few more channels on a single tp, thats MSM-Discovery does. Another thing i should remember here, all the old mpeg2/power vu IRD boxes where can't able to convert or upgrade to any other technology or an encryption system. 
Last month we had an operators meeting by Sony, they said they are going to change ther IRD boxes for all & asked to surrender the older boxes. So wait & see the fact, which iam saying...

Note : few days back NHK channels where changed to new DVBS2 tp & converted their encryption from power vu to conax...

At present all the other broadcasters where changed to DVBS2 technology, then why Sony won't do this...?
Think positive always, don't think as a common man. They need to stop piracy, regain their loss from piracy...

Also who says that too convert to Dvbs2 tp change is needed ?
Why can't they convert old tp to Dvbs2,
