Narrated by the Mexican actor Enrique Rocha, the Discovery series features individual animals in their natural habitat. The series' scenes, many of which were recorded in Ultra HD, were filmed in 29 countries on six continents, yielding more than 1,800 hours of footage.
“This was my first time narrating a series and I am thrilled to be a part of telling this ever important story about life, with the vision and credibility of Discovery en Español,” said Rocha. “Sobrevivir offers viewers an exclusive opportunity to witness the wonderful and often heart-wrenching cycle of life”.
Mike Gunton, Rupert Barrington and Sarah Spaniolo served as producers.
Sobrevivir's broadcasts kick off on 18 October on Discovery en Español across the US, where the network is widely distributed on Hispanic tier packages.
