Seeking Help Dish antenna maintaining from rust

I recently installed a new dish antenna for my airtel stb. I live near the sea and previously used antenna had lot of rust and this time technician came to install it and advised me to put paint all over brand new dish antenna i have.

is it safe to put paint all over my new dish or let it be?
painting dish helps getting rust on dish antenna ?

please share your ideas. thanks in advanced

Yes painting always helps but should be done when there is no existing rust on antenna

technician said its ok to paint even when its brand new? no point yea?

No need now...check after 6m or 1year if u found corrosion then do paint and apply grease/oil to nut n bolts/screws.

No use if corrosion started do it now for longer life
