The highlights of the same are:-
v New LCN numbers: All channels will have new channel numbers. The EPG will span across LCNs 100 to 2999.
v HD followed by SD: The HD channel will be followed by the respective SD channel.
v All Hindi like regionals together – UP, Uttarakhand, Haryana, Rajasthan etc. channels will be moved to their respective main line genre.
v All Kids Channel together – All kids channel (regional and non-regional will be placed under Kids genre).
v Regional HSM channels: HSM Regional channels are categorized on the basis of content followed by language. For e.g.: HSM channel with major focus on News would be placed after Hindi News, whereas a channel where the major focus is Infotainment/GEC would be after Hindi GEC.
v Devotional: Sub-genres have been created basis the format of the channel.
v Channel under each genre are placed as per their sub-genre in following sequence – GEC, Shopping, Movies, Music, News, Devotional, Others.
v Under each genre there will be separate range for Exclusive premium HD channels.
v More Space for upcoming channels.
