Dear Members,

In the recent times, we have noticed that few members have been sharing articles from other websites, which were originally shared first on DDF. This does not make sense, as it will unnecessarily drive traffic to those websites even though the content is our members' hard work. And worse, it can even drive members away from the forum. Ultimately those websites get benefitted, though the hard work is ours. So, please make sure you DO NOT post such threads/posts. Please thouroughly search on DDF before sharing content from other websites. Strict action will be taken on the violators. You should also read and understand the below thread for generic rules about content sharing from other websites.

Rules For Sharing Content On DDF From Other Website

Thanks for your cooperation.

Cheers,
Team DDF

Adding to that, if you are sharing any article from other websites please read/check the whole thread before posting - what i mean here is if it has shared from another source better not to post same thing from another source again. Some regular members might already have noticed their posts have been moderated due to this issue, we also notify them upon moderation.

Reason behind this announcement is, we do not want original members' hard work get hidden with less useful/duplicated content. As site growing, we get several replies on every threads, with that many replies also are of articles from third party sites which are either of less or no use and to decrease that problem we need cooperation of every member. DDF has grown because of its authenticity and originality of news, as we are growing, we still want to maintain the same quality.

To everyone's attention....

I understand your excitement when you see your's or our member's post credited in a news article posted by a renowned news website. But that doesn't invite a reshare of that news article link on our forums again. Remember, we earned that backlink because of our hardwork. No need to project it as if we got that by luck. Let's not spoil the reputation we earned because of our over excitement. If you happen to find our DreamDTH name or link as a source credits on any website, move over with a smile and a pinch of pride. Please do not put that link over here in your replies. Going forward, any such posts will be deleted without notice and strict action will be taken against repeated offenders.
