friends, i just wanted to know how many theaters in india are upgraded or upgrading to DOLBY ATMOS sound system. 
becouse no website gives perfect info about these theatre. dolby website gives some info... but think its not complete. 
so, please share DOLBY ATMOS theatres in your city or in your state  :huh :huh :huh

2. vasant, davangere

in south india 250+ theaters equipped with Dolby atmos in chennai and chengalpet arround 45+ theaters
In 2 years it will be 2000+ theaters in south india , so dont worry.

NO, not yet installed, im in hubli. here, pvr not yet installed dolby atmos...
so, i went to davangere (100+ km) to see dolby atmos theatre last week. (the conjuring 2 movie was playing)

100 theatres to install Dolby Atmos system in 2016

The American audio and video technology company Dolby Laboratories hopes to have its Dolby Atmos system installed in around 100 theatres this year, said a senior official.
According to him around 200 Indian movies have Dolby Atmos sound technologies and globally the number is around 465.
On the other hand Dolby is in discussions with direct-to-home (DTH) players in India offering high definition broadcast service for its Dolby Audio solutions.
"The HD market is growing in India. 45 HD channels are in Dolby," he said.

Glad that stumbled onto this thread. Can someone plz tell me the difference between imax, dolby atmos such other technologies, or at list give link to a good article that explains them?
