I think they started to telecaste channels in HEVC format

Ya except FYI TV 18 & Travel XP Channel now all the HD channels are available in AC3+ audio

Is anyone facing issues with Dolby digital plus??Sound is distorting in AC3+ since the hevc test channel addition.It is distorting only when we select DD sound in settings,In PCM mode sound quality is fine.Is it the problem for every one just check and tell.Mine is Sony bravia 40inch smart tv .I don't think problem is with tv becz it supports Dolby digital plus sound.

I don't know the quality of hd channels is increased or compressed.!!Compared to previous quality now the video is not full hd(1920×540) and the audio bitrate is only 192kbps previously it was 384kbps.Experts can throw some light on this..Is it really increased quality wise!! Check the above pic.
