E- Auction For DD Free Dish slots On 30 may, reserve price at RS 4.3 crore

New Delhi - Even as the final touches are being given to increase the Carrying capicity of the plotform, The 27 e- Auction to fill up vacant slots on Doordarshan 'S direct to home Free Dish will be held on 30th May.
The reserve price is RS 4.3 Crore for the slots on the Country s only free to air DTH Platform . The reserve price which had been Rs 3.7 crore was raised to its present lavel for the 25th e- Auction in January .
Indiantelevission. Com learn that the bid Amount went up to RS 4.7 crore in earlier e- Auctions . The reserve price in the 15th e - Auction was Rs three crore and was raised to RS 3.7 crore in the 16 the e - Auction.
DD Sources rivised to divulge the number of slots being auctioned to prevent bidders forming consortia to bid our resort to other malpractice . The plotform at present as space for eightly Channels including its own Channels, and lok sabha & Rajya sabha TV.

I thik slots only added for important Channels

Its E-auction and the channel broadcasters who bid for the slots and win get placed on the dd direct platform.Hope DD had some policy to put cap according to category and had a mix of all channels.

I thought that any Kids channel may be participate in this auction.
Because
1)rishtey have kids time morning 9-11am and evening 5-6pm.
2)zee anmol shows the zee Q programs in many time specially Sunday -full day
3) Big magic runs famous shows for children special for summer.
4) National &Regional DD channels run Gali gali Sim Sim in qHD resolution.

May be after movie channel competition, any investors invest for cartoon/ kids channel.
