EPG Soon On All DD Direct+ Channels

Electronic Program Guide (EPG) will be added to all DD DIRECT+ Channels very soon. Prasar Bharti working since last few months to upgrade DD DIRECT+ System to enable Live program update.

With this move, DishTV users will also get Live EPG for all DD DTH channels from INSAT-4B.

Note: EPG is also STB-dependant feature. Not all FTA Receivers have option for EPG.

Ya, many dd direct stb i.e. Fta stb shellout in india are mostly cheap so not provided function of Epg. But dish tv will get admi by this

Nice to see that,

1. 97 TV/ 40 Radio Channels will be added in near future.

2. EPG will be added.

3. DD DTH will be CAS and MPEG4 compatible.
