MUMBAI: Fashion channel Fashion One is all set to launch a new series bringing together style and fashion on one plate.

Titled ‘Fashion on a Plate’, the show will be set in the world’s fashion capitals where fashion meets food and the runway is the dining room. Michelin star chefs from around the world will introduce viewers to their unique and innovative cuisine and integrate design and style into their creations.

‘Fashion on a plate’ will premiere on 26 June on Fashion One HD, and air at 10 pm every Thursday.

It will showcase the art of culinary fashion at the world’s best restaurants in an eight-episode series. While showcasing their culinary ingenuity, chefs, designers and managers will interpret the term ‘fashion on a plate.’

The show’s executive producer Ashley Jordan said, “It is about self-expression and style within the culinary world. Fashion One tackles fashion in the world of gastronomy, taking viewers in an exclusive inside look into the kitchens of the most prestigious culinary masters from around the globe.”

The show will travel from the streets of Paris, to the bustling metro of New York City, the royal boroughs in London, the paradisiacal resorts in Bali, the modern melting pot of Singapore, the chic bistros in Milan, the celebrated gourmets in Hong Kong and the festive eateries of Sao Paolo. Each half-hour episode features a new city, containing four renowned chefs who have mastered their craft.

‘Fashion on a Plate’ is an original programming series created by executive producers Michael Gleissner and Ashley Jordan, with Nichole Millikan and Cara Salmeri as series producers.
