Kushal Tandon - drop his name and girls go weak in the knees. Blessed with Greek God looks and a striking personality, Kushal is a dude with attitude, or let’s say…he is an ‘attidude’. Oh yaa…he is uber cool.
Gaining immense popularity as the lead inEk Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hai(Star Plus), he carved a niche for himself as a contestant inBigg Boss season 7(Colors). In the house of scandals he met his lady love, beautiful and gorgeous Gauahar Khan, and together they make a heavenly pair.
His last stint on television was celeb reality showKhatron Ke Khiladi(Colors) and currently he is enjoying watching FIFA World Cup matches on Tata Sky+HD. We caught up with Kushal wherein he shared about his FIFA experience in a candid chat for our new section Football Fever: Excerpts:
Are you watching FIFA World Cup?
Yes, most certainly.
Which team are you supporting?
Spain, but sadly they are out of the tournament now.
Till now, what have been the most memorable moments of this year’s football World Cup for you?
Ahh…some of the goals have been amazing. But I think the best is yet to come.
When you keep busy shooting, where and what do you watch the games on?
A)At work
B)At home
C)In public places
Even when I shoot, I like watching matches at my place. Public places are too noisy.
So how do you catch up on the matches you have missed? When do you get the time to catch matches from your busy schedule?
See, this time most of the matches are airing pretty late in the night. But I have no issue as I have Tata Sky+HDat my home. They have some wonderful features via which I record my games and watch later. My life isjhingalala(smiles).
You are aware of all the features on your techie set top box? What is your favourite feature?
Yes, I am aware of all the features and I find them very helpful. I specially like the Rewind feature.
Now tell us about your favourite player/s?
Lionel Messi from Argentina and Neymar from Brazil.
Do you play football when free?
Yes and I have played it extensively during my school days. I played at the center-back position.
Football is all about goals. What’s your goal in life?
To be a good and successful human being.
