Sun Network introduced four more channels in the prime languages of South India . It has launched four action movie channels Sun Action in Tamil, Gemini Action in Telugu, Udaya Action in Kannada and Surya Action in Malayalam on 4th January, 2012.
These action channels will be premium channels (Paid service) and Break-free service. The company's press release stated that by introducing these channels,
Sun Networks entering into the "Ad free" pay channel world and also the new genre of “Action Movie" is added to the existing genres of General Entertainment, Movies, Music, News, Kids and Comedy.
With this, the total number of channels in Sun’s bouquet moves up to 29 (Twenty Nine) of which there are Ten channels in Tamil; Eight channels in Telugu ; Seven channels in Kannada and Four channels in Malayalam languages.
