MUMBAI: With summer not too far away, male-
targeted English GEC FX has lined up new shows,
which include thrillers, suspense, drama and
comedy.

Viewers can watch the star-crossed lovers Noah
and Alison embark upon a journey of love, as
their respective spouses become victims of their
extra-marital affair. The first and second seasons
of ‘The Affair’ will air right up to 19 April, from
Monday to Friday at 9 pm.

The fourth season of ‘Mad Men’ is all set to
make its way from 24 March, Monday to Friday,
at 11 pm. It is set in the 1960s in the ego-driven
golden age of Madison Avenue where everyone
is selling something and nothing is what it
seems.

April will also see a number of shows. ‘Empire’ is
a drama series whose second season ended in a
situation where the worst nightmare for the Lyon
family seems to have become true—Lucious
loses his control over Empire Entertainment as
he loses his position as CEO. The show is set to
return on 3 April every Sunday at 10 pm.

The sixth and final season of the TV comedy
series ‘Community’ will premiere on 7 April at
8:30 pm and continue to air every Monday to
Friday at the same time.

‘Luther’ also makes its way to audiences. This
British crime drama starring Idris Elba will air
from 12 April, Monday to Friday, at 11 pm.
Following suit is the gory American horror drama
show ‘The Strain’, which will premiere with its
first season this April. This will air from Monday
to Friday from 20 April at 9 pm.

Comedy and gore blend in May to give audiences
two premieres—the 11th and 12th seasons of
the comedy series ‘It’s Always Sunny in
Philadelphia’ and the second season of the
gruesome American science fiction thriller drama
television series ‘Helix’. The 11th and 12th
seasons of ‘It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia’ will
premiere back to back from 13 May onwards at
8:30 pm, while ‘Helix’ hits television screens on 9
May, Monday to Friday, at 9 pm.

To end the summer of May, detective Harry
Bosch brings himself to the small screen on 26
May with the premiere of the first season of
‘Bosch’. Based on Michael Connelly’s ‘Harry
Bosch’ series, the show stars Titus Welliver as
Harry Bosch. ‘Bosch’ will air from Monday to
Friday at 9 pm from 26 May.
