Hindi general entertainment channel have been impacted by the ongoing India-Sri Lanka cricket series. The top 3 GECs of last week – Star Plus, Zee TV and Colors – lost 71 GRPs in the week 29 (July 15 – June 21) of TAM 2012, according to TAM data sourced from TAM subscribers. Sony has jumped to No. 2 position on the back of outstanding performance of its flagship fiction show Bade Achhe Lagte Hain. It was the second most watched show of the week with an average of 4.2 TVR.
Star Plus has lost 22 GRPs for the second week in a row. The channel has recorded 254 GRPs this week (last week 276).
Riding high on its flagship fiction show Bade Achhe Lagte Hain, Sony Entertainment Television has taken No. 2 seat. BALH was the second most watched show of the week with an average of 4.2 TVR. The channel has record 228 GRPs this week (Last week 222).
Zee TV has slipped on position down to No. 3 by losing 32 GRPs. The channel has recorded 221 GRPs (last week 253).
With loss of 17 points, Colors is now at No. 4 this week. The channel has fetched 214 GRPs (last week 231).
SAB TV has recorded 129 GRPs against last week’s 122 GRPs.
Life OK has managed to be above 100-mark and recorded 101 GRPs (last week 113).
Sahara One has fetched 42 GRPs (last week 39).
