Why waste resources on this when you got terrestrial network, cable, DTH, broadband, 4G and now even 5G? Government needs to spend the money to distribute free cakes to everyone instead.

Well, DTT has mobile bandwidth for this purpose and is internet-free, you only need a TV-ready mobile phone. Or much better, deploy DTT for once. I swear India's government is the most ignorant, incompetent and inefficient government of the continent.

D2M is latest technology like wireless IP TV using existing Telcos infrastructure as against DTT infrastructure to be setup separately by TV transmission companies like DTH

Govt already ruined the Dthas the subscriber canot see his her favourite channels as they viewed before. Now huge amount to be spend..

Govt asks Stake holders to rework and come out with revised proposal. Tecos demands for additional spectrum for D2M transmissions.
DOT wants to consult DTH operators as they might affected by this service.
