Gearing up for the digitisation deadline on July 1, 2012, Hathway has beefed up its offerings with 20 HD channels in specific locations with combined broadband service. The service is available in Mumbai, Pune, Delhi, Hyderabad and Bangalore.

Commenting on the development, K Jayaraman, MD & CEO, Hathway, said, “We’ve had a long and cherished relationship with our subscribers, and in keeping with their requirements we are now pleased to announce our HD offerings portfolio as a precursor to more innovation in the ensuing digital transition and bring home to Hathway digital consumers a better viewing experience and content quality.”

The recently launched channels Sony HD and Sony Six are two of the few channels that have been included in Hathway offerings.
