Total income from operations is likely to grow marginally to Rs 139 crore from Rs 136 crore during the same period. :(

Earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) are seen going up to Rs 24.5 crore in the three months period ended September 2012 from Rs 23.5 crore in the June quarter of 2012 and Rs 19.5 crore in the corresponding period of last fiscal.

Operating profit margin is expected to improve 30 basis points QoQ and 230 basis points YoY to 17.6 percent in the quarter.

Overall the street expects steady quarter with flattish revenue and EBITDA growth.

Analysts on an average expect the full benefit of digitisation on subscription revenues from Phase 1 in first quarter of financial year 2013-14.

Average revenue per user is expected to increase with digitisation progressing.

Analysts feel the Phase 2, which entails digitisation of 38 cities (22 million analog subscribers), is much bigger opportunity for the company compared to Phase 1, which had included four cities (7 million analog subscribers).

Digital cables are expected to perform well than DTH in Phase 2 (as in Phase 1).

Hathway enjoys top status in 11 of the 38 (Phase 2) cities and has a presence in 25 cities.

The company has been targeting 4 - 4.5 million subscribers in the second phase.
