Hd channels 5.1 audio problem

i have connected adtv stb to my home theater system by toslink but my home theater system not showing dolby digital on all hd channels some channels show pcm audio.
some of hd channels showing dolby digital not giving proper DD effects, surround spekers giving no or little audio. some cahannels like stars plus hd giving good audo from front but no audio from surround from back speakrs wat should i do :wall :wall :wall :wall :wall :wall :wall

TOSLINK cables can temporarily fail or be permanently damaged if tightly bent.
Some of the HD channels only giving Dolby Digital, others LPCM only

I am getting dd5.1 sound on all hd channels except zeetvhd , zee cinema hd

Sport channels also don't have 5.1

cables are okay but only some channels audio is not that great or feels like compressed
i was expecting like bluray audio but sad its not the case
