Just like Channel V. Their intention was always too convert it into sports channels. Hence, filled the channels with same three sitcoms, Koffee with Karan and MasterChef since last few years. They followed same Channel V model when they filled the slot with movies from Star Gold Select which itself has library repeatation problem. Unlike Disney and Fox, Star India is not a global brand. Their competition is not Sony and Viacom. Their competition is low budget networks like Dangal and Naaptol. You will never find any premium channel in their bouquet. Only Disney backed premium entities like National Geographic and Disney's kids channels are getting proper treatment. Just see the state of Fox Life. It's filled with rerun. Mark my works.
