Hungama TV will have a month filled with action, adventure and comedy as it launches an all new series of ‘Beyblade’ and brings in a full-length Pokémon movie for the very first time on Indian television.
With the success of ‘Pokémon’, Hungama TV is, for the first time, adding a completely new dimension to the popular series by launching a movie on 18 April. Titled ‘Pokemon – Mewtwo Ka Badla’, the movie tracks the journey of Ash, Misty, Brock and Pikachu as they encounter Mewtwo, a bio-engineered Pokémon, and the super-Pokémon created by Mewtwo.
Taking on the popularity of the action, adventure and comedy genre, the channel has launched another Beyblade series on 13 April. The series encapsulates the journey of Tyson, a young boy, who is a Beyblade champion and wants to participate in the world championship in Russia.
“We are elated with Pokémon’s runaway success thanks to Hungama’s solid programming strategy and are very excited about Beyblade, our second content syndication association with Hungama. On the merchandising front, Pokémon products are fast flying out of stores and there are lots of new products hitting retail in May, for kids to get their hands on as they enjoy Pokémon through the summers!” said Dream Theatre Founder and CEO Jiggy George.
Dream Theatre is a brand management company that builds, represents and distributes iconic Entertainment, Sports and Fashion brands in South Asia. Dream Theatre also syndicates content for broadcast.
