Airtel Digital TV starts service for competitive exams preparation​

NEW DELHI: Direct-to-home service provider Airtel Digital TV today launched an interactive service -- iExam --designed for students preparing for competitive examinations.

"Till now television was only a medium of entertainment, but with the launch of iExam it has transformed into a virtual tutor for students at home. iExam will give students the real-time experience of taking practice tests and compete with fellow students," Bharti Airtel CEO, DTH and Media, Shashi Arora said in a statement.


This service will enable students to prepare for competitive exams from their home by offering mock and practice tests directly on their Airtel Digital TV, the statement said.

iExam will provide students their individual rank, percentile, personalised explanation of their scores with an in-depth exam analytics that will underline weak and strong areas, timing skills and accuracy levels directly on their television sets.

Apart from this, iExam will provide students information about top colleges in the country and details on upcoming competitive exams and education loans.

iExam currently provides engineering test preparation for AIEEE, IIT and some state-level entrance exams with content created in conjunction with Kota based education service provider Career Point.

In the next stages, preparatory examination content for CAT, Bank PO, PMT will also be added to the service, the statement added.
