When I change channels using my set top box remote a price in Rupees is displayed.
Is that the price I need to pay my LCO ?
I am not sure about this so I need confirmation about this from more knowledgeable
forum members.

I am using GTPL KCBPL.

₹130 (for first 100 channels). Add the channel's prices displayed on tv. Add 18% to the total which is GST. Pay the amount to LCO.

When you say first 100 channels do you mean Free To Air channels?

Add the channel's prices displayed on tv. Add 18% to the total which is GST. Pay the amount to LCO.

Okay so lets make a calculation as an example.
The following is the channel prices shown when I select a channel with remote :

Nat Geo HD Rs. 10.00
TLC HD World Rs. 3.00
Discovery HD Rs. 6.00
Nat Geo Wild Rs.5.00

Rs.24.00

So I need to add 18% to Rs 24 ?

Yes + add ₹153 (NCF charges)

I suggest you to get Discovery's bouquet instead of buying its channels as Ala Carte. You will get more channels at same price.
As I have already mentioned is several of my posts/threads the fact is my LCO is not helpful at all.
I understand that the only way out of this situation is to leave my present connection and take
DTH which I will do as soon as I move from currently rented house to our own house.
