Congrats to Indian team who are all worked in developing and successfully launching this satellite. In fact this is special satellite, coz it is India's 100 (century) satellite. We proved again India is one of the leader in satellite technology in world today. Proud be Indian. :ohya:ohya:ohya

What is the work of this satellite in space?

Mazhar bhai PSLV-C21 carried two satellites SPOT-6 (belonged to France) & PROITERES (designed by Osaka Institute of Technology, Japan)

French satellite was a Remote sensing satellite used for earth observation. and Japan's sat was micro satellite designed by students for studying Kansai region of Japan. :)

Good News for ISRO is SPOT-6 is the biggest commercial lift so far and ISRO earned a profit of Rs.20 Crores by this launch. The rocket was built at Rs90 Crores and the two sats paid Rs.110 Crores to ISRO for the launch.
