I get the same hdcp error since i don't have it connected via HDMI but via VGA cable. They should just launch a windows desktop app so that they can ensure that there is no piracy and DMCA infringement.

Install Nox (Android emulator for PC) and then install Tatasky APK & Hotstar APK to it. This won't give any issues and will run seamlessly as it runs in any Android device.

I used this method for approximately for a week recently when my TV set was in service centre.
