Is It Possible to Install Tata Sky Software Using USB or Computers?

Here I'm not talking about the Back+2465 trick.

I'm asking is there any method to reinstall software in Tata Sky STB using USB drive? What if an STB is having some software problem and can't be updated using manual software download trick. In such conditions, the service center guys must install the software using some other methods.

We here on this forum have many TS workers, dealers, etc. Does anyone know about such methods? Is it possible to install STB software using USB drive or computer in Tata Sky?

Please share details if anyone knows.

I connected Tata Sky using the normal 3 cables , as my tv is old doesnt come with hdmi ...
If I connect with hdmi port , will there be any improvement in picture/sound quality ?

In order to install tatasky software via usb you need to have software in your pendrive and how are you planning to get software in first place

Even the employees don't have TS software on PC or Pen drive, its not possible. May be its kept by their dev team only.
