Is there really stereo audio in standard channels on DishTV?

My speaker system was outputting more noise on the left output so I resorted to utilising only the right one. Is there really a difference? I didn't notice anything on, for example Disney Channel, Sony Pal, Nat Geo Wild HD.

Also, is it possible to transmit audio via bluetooth to headphones?

So is there mono audio, i.e., the same audio being outputted through both channels through AV port?
