Finally, the much-awaited announcement is here. Mohanlal, the magical actor recently announced the lead role debut of his son Pranav Mohanlal, through a special note posted on his official Facebook page.Pranav Mohanlal will enter the film industry as a lead actor, with the upcoming Jeethu Joseph project. The movie, which will be an out-and-out action thriller, is produced by Antony Perumbavoor for Aashirvad Cinema.The title of the project and rest of the star cast are expected to be revealed soon. The movie will start rolling in January 2017. Pranav Mohanlal's role in the movie has been kept as a secret.
Earlier, it was reported that Mohanlal is planning to launch Pranav, and is searching for an exciting script. But the actor denied the reports and stated that he wants his son to choose a career on his own.But the rumours resurfaced recently after a few popular online portals reported that Mohanlal is planning to announce the Pranav's lead role debut soon.
